Other Future Visits
There are several more irons in the fire, though details for the following are still to be confirmed:
Visit to Richard Martin Lighting.
This will hopefully happen soon, depending on when their new premises are ready for a visit. The new site is nearly four times the size of the old one and will have a demonstration area. Whatever happens at this meeting we are promised a very warm welcome!
Lee Filters
This may be sometime this year and will be a chance to see how filters are manufactured. I believe the society has been to the Andover site before but it will certainly make for an interesting trip.
Media Server Meeting
There are now quite a few different devices to choose & manipulate images for projection & use in scenery- we will be looking at some of them later in the year.
Sports Venue Lighting
A chance to see how lighting is designed and installed in one of the county’s large venues. This could be Wembley, the O2 Dome, or Wimbledon.
